# Voting on Proposals

#### Requirements to Vote

Users can vote on a proposal if:

* They have at least 2,000 TJR in locked **participation**.
* Their participation is active (not unbonding or withdrawn)
* They **have not voted** on the proposal already
* They held voting power at the **snapshot time** (when the proposal started)

#### How to Vote

Steps:

1. Open the proposal
2. Review the proposal details
3. Choose your vote: **Yes / No / Neutral**
4. Sign the transaction
5. Wait for confirmation

#### Voting Window

* Each proposal stays open for **5 full days (120 hours)**
* Voting **cannot be changed** once your vote is submitted
* Proposals automatically close when the window ends

### After You Vote

* Your locked participation remains locked until the governance process for that proposal is complete.
* The system records your voting power based on the **snapshot at proposal start**
* You cannot revoke or modify your vote once finalized

***

### Notes

* Voting power = **Locked Participation (TJR) × network multiplier**
* Snapshot voting means:\
**Even if you lock more TJR for participation later,** your voting power remains based on your balance at the proposal snapshot.
* If your participation enters **unbonding**, you lose the ability to vote on new proposals but keep your voting power for ongoing ones (because snapshot already captured it)
