# Using Tajir chain

TTajir Chain is an EVM-compatible Layer 2 network using OP Stack execution technology and integrated with Polygon AggLayer. Once the network is added to your wallet, you can interact with Tajir applications and use TJR to pay transaction fees.

#### **What you can do on Tajir**

* Send and receive tokens
* Deploy or interact with smart contracts
* Use dApps built on Tajir Chain
* Participate in **participation**,governance, and voting

#### **To get started**

* Install a supported wallet (MetaMask or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet).
* Add the Tajir Chain network using the RPC settings provided in the **Network Connection Guide**.
* Get test tokens from the faucet (testnet only).
* Connect your wallet to a Tajir dApp and start interacting with the network.
